You'll receive the license txt via email soon after generating it and selecting the email option on the Launchpad. Note down the Hardware Key to be used for the License request. Using the sidadm user, use the following command: saplikey pf=DEFAULT.PFL -show. You'll need some info from your SAP system to request the license, if you can't log into SAP GUI you'll need to get this info via the OS. Select the License Keys tile on in order to add a new System, then add a new license and generate the licence for your system. In my case I was licensing an S/4HANA 1909 and wanted to include the maintenance license too. You'll need to request a new license from the SAP Support Launchpad. An S/4HANA 1909 system of mine wouldn't start, the error was the common disp+work, Dispatcher, GRAY, Stopped and dev_disp logs in /usr/sap//D00/work pointed to an expired license.
